Step 1: prepare your application file
All documents required in the application file must be uploaded in their original form and, if the documents are not originally in English, must be accompanied by a certified English translation.
1-Transcript of records
2-Bachelor’s diploma
Scan of original Bachelor diploma from university education in the original language, list of subjects taken and grades received from the university education in the original language, the Diploma Supplement if applicable, AND certified English translation of the diploma and transcripts of study results (if you haven’t completed your first degree yet, please send available transcripts)
3-Documentation of English language proficiency
Students must justify of a level B2 within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). For this they must provide one of the documents below:
4-Video Presentation
The video presentation is the new motivation letter!
On the application website, section "Motivation Letter", upload a .pdf document mentionning your name, surname, date of birth, nationality, country of residence, references (contact details of two persons with whom you have worked and who can recommend you), and the link to the video presentation (The video must be accessible to anyone with the link until the end of March, ideally on YouTube. However, it will not be public or displayed, and only the steering committee will have access to it)
Be up to the point, prepare a short video (between 2 and 4 min-long).
Your video presentation must contain, in the following order, information about:
- your motivation for applying,
- your understanding of the programme,
- the reasons why you think you can succeed in the iPSRS programme,
- your ideas of applied research and your professional development plan.
- your preferred choice(s) of mobility for the semester 3, rank them if you can accept different concentration tracks in S3.
- and clearly declare that you’ve never benefited from an Erasmus Mundus Master Course grant

6-Letters of recommendation
Letters of recommendation should be of academic nature and must contain contact details and title/position of referees as well as the date the letter was written.
PROCEDURE
During the application process, candidates will be requested to indicate contacts of 2 referees. The referees will then receive an automatic email requesting them to complete their recommendation and add it to the candidate's application before February 7th 2025. Two completed referee forms must be uploaded for your application to be valid.
WARNING :
1) Candidates should anticipate a delay long enough for referees to add their recommendations to the application, implying that the candidate should finished his part of the application well before February 7th 2025, so that he referees have enough time to contribute to the application.
2) We recommend that you choose your referees and ask them to recommend you ahead of time, and that you inform them when you have deposited your candidature so that they know to look for the automatic email requesting them to add their recommendation to your application.
7-Proof of nationality
Proof of nationality could be:
8-Scan of a birth certificate
The Birth certificate has to be in native language and a translated version in English, by a certified translator.
We advise you, if selected to join the programme, to also ask for a birth certificate translated in French. You will need it for administrative process once you are in France.
9-Potential additional relevant information
You can add to your application research papers, projects portfolio, etc.

Step 2: Submit your application file
Information relating to individuals (personal data) is collected and used in accordance with the Regulation (EC) N° 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18.12.2000 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data (OJ L8 of 12.1.2001, p. 1).
Personal data will be sent to the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency and may be used by other bodies involved in the management of EMJMD acting as stakeholders of the programme (i.e. European Commission, Erasmus+ National Offices, EU Delegations, Erasmus Mundus Student and EM) for facilitating the student access to the joint programme.
