Coming to Vilnius, Lithuania

1.  Renew your visa

You will have to renew your residence permit in order to continue your studies within the European Union.  For further information, please consult the Campus France website or contact your administrative coordinator at master.PSRS@univ-st-etienne.fr.

2. Read about available housing options

3. Plan your travel

Book a flight to the city of Vilnius.

We strongly advise you to carefully plan your arrival to make sure you arrive before the starting date of Semester 3. Note that you are expected to be on campus on September 2027, so you must arrive in late August 2027 (dates to be confirmed).

4. Register

As of September 1st, you will receive your student registration number. Using this number, you will be required to complete the following steps by September 30:

– register at the Identity Management System id.vu.lt to access the VU Study Information System (VU IS) and your university email.  

– register via the VU IS eStudent environment to keep track of the most important study information.

– activate munti-factor authentification (MFA) to gain access to VU systems. The installation and user guide for the MFA app can be found here.

5. Order your International Student Identity Card (ISIC) and your Lithuanian Student Identity Card (LSP)

6. Check your study schedule and room timetable
